Medical Cannabis Information & Resource Center

Medical Cannabis Information & Resource Center

If your City has an Ordinance that bans the licensing of cannabis businesses, the Medical Cannabis Information and Resource Center is a viable way to advance the City’s approval of licensing under California’s Medicinal and Adult Use of Cannabis Regulations and Safety Act (MAUCRSA).

The MCC opened the Pasadena Medical Cannabis Information and Resource Center at 52 N. Mentor Avenue in Pasadena, California in 2009. Center operates as a City licensed Health Care Information Center that provides services and products that include:

  • Information and Classes for patients who are using cannabis to treat a medical condition
  • CBD products
  • Cultivation Classes
  • Physician approval services
  • Clinical Training for health care providers who want to learn how to provide medical cannabis informational services for patients with a physician’s approval
  • Department of Public Health (DPH) ID Card services
  • A Cannabis Bookstore
  • Classes on State Regulations for the Medicinal and Adult Use of Cannabis
  • Guest Speakers

The Center serves as a hub for gathering citizens’ signatures in favor of licensing cannabis businesses within the City. Additionally, it fosters strong community relations, delivers regular progress updates to the City Council, and offers community benefits that position it as a highly suitable candidate for licensing.

The MCC provides a Business Plan for the Medical Cannabis Information and Resource Center.
