SAVINGS ON CANNABIS PRODUCTS FOR MEDICAL PATIENTS

CannabisMED is an innovative online platform that connects medical cannabis patients directly with authorized cannabis cultivators and producers, offering patients a cost-saving way to access high-quality cannabis products.

CannabisMED was developed by Medical Cannabis Caregivers (MCCDirectory.org) for the benefit of members of the California Medical Cannabis Cultivators (CMCC), a nonprofit association dedicated to supporting cultivators who grow on behalf of qualified patients. These cultivators supplied cannabis flowers and products to medical cannabis dispensaries under California’s Medical Marijuana Program from 2003 to 2018.

Although these individual cultivators do not hold a city or state cannabis license, they remain recognized as a legal source of cannabis products exclusively for medical patients and their essential role in patient care.

CannabisMED showcases these local cultivators and the products they produce for patients. Patients, interested in specific products, may submit a request for direct contact with the cultivator, ensuring a personalized, patient-focused experience.

To obtain products directly from cultivators on CannabisMED, patients are required to upload their physician approval. All transactions are strictly between the cultivator/producer and the patient. CannabisMed is currently serving Pasadena and the surrounding areas.

The MCC works in association with the CMCC to ensure compliance with the state regulations and the development of policies and procedures for the operation of CannabisMED including product testing, packaging and labeling requirements.
